Vajrayogini - The Trauma Goddess

Morning prayers this morning turned into afternoon prayers instead today. The hardships I am facing are starting to take their toll on me. It also seems that everyone around me is facing some sort of hardship that is making it difficult for them to move forward. I thought of Vajrayogini and thought I'd introduce you to her if you didn't know about her before now.

Vajrayogini drinks and transforms the negative karma of her devotees.

In 2006 Miranda Shaw wrote that "The Diamond Female" is the supreme deity of the Tantrik Tradition. No male Buddha, including her divine consort, approaches her in metaphysical or practical import. Guardian of the North that makes the seemingly impossible migration from Canada all the way to Brazil, help me on my epic mythic journey where Spirit calls. Help me to learn how to identify and close the "back doors" in my life, which siphon my vital life force and prevents me from making my dreams reality.

The Shedding Snake

Guardian of the South that transforms itself in growth, help me to shed the stories that bind me to my painful past and prevent me from stepping into a bright future. Help me to come into a proper relationship with who I have been, who I am, and who I am becoming. Help me to create the world I desire. Help me to visualize luminous bands of protection in my energy field which will allow me to be more present and available for life, instead of wasting my energy trying to hide in fear from a terrifying world. Help me to follow, trust, and effectively use my intuition as a valuable tool in navigating through the world.

The Jaguar

Guardian of the West that has no predator in the jungle, help me to learn to have no enemies in this world or beyond. Help me to leave behind the traditional archetype of the violent warrior and step into the way of the luminous warrior, who speaks only truth, and calls truth. Help me to break free from the grip of fear. Help me to explore inherited ancestral and karmic patterns that propel me toward my destiny. Help me to come into right relation with these patterns and to honor the gifts of my ancestors, so that I can set them free and empower myself to create the world of my dreams.
